The bunkers are situated around the lighthouse (Phare), at the north/east point of the island. Some are at the left side (4cm emplacement and Würzburg) and others at the right side (5cm emplacement and 667) of the lighthouse.
The location with the lighthouse was a so called "Kriegsmarine Station" and very important for the Germans. They built there radar systems around the old lighthouse and the new one. On top of the old lighthouse was an emplacement for a radar Fu.MG. Seetakt (short wavelength naval radar). At the beach is an emplacement for a Würzburg Riese Fu.MO. 214 radar (naval radar). At the left side of the lighthouse on top of the ancient gate, there is an emplacement for a 4cm Flak located. At the other side of the lighthouse, along the path/boulevard, is a Tobruk65a for a 5cm KwK and a 667 casemate located.
